This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It describes what you may not do with Egality Health. If you violate it, we may suspend or terminate your access as described in Section 14 of the Terms.
Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. THE GENERAL RULE
Egality Health is a personal health record and wellness tool for individual adults. Use it for that. Do not use it in a way that harms another person, breaks the law, or degrades the Service for others.
2. YOU MAY NOT
2.1 Break the law
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to facilitate anyone else doing so.

2.3 Provide healthcare through the Service

- Represent output from the Service to anyone as medical advice, a diagnosis, or a clinical recommendation.
- Use the Service as a system of record for a clinical practice, a covered entity under HIPAA, or a research study involving human subjects.
Egality Health is not a medical device, not a clinical system, and not covered by HIPAA. It is not designed or validated for these uses.
2.4 Attack the Service

- Use AI features in an automated loop or at a volume inconsistent with normal individual use.
3. SECURITY RESEARCH
We welcome good-faith security research. If you want to test the Service, email security@egalityhealth.com first and we will work out scope with you.
Good-faith research conducted within an agreed scope, that does not access another user's data and that is reported to us privately before disclosure, will not be treated as a violation of this Policy or of our Terms.
Never test against another user's account. If you encounter another person's health information during research, stop immediately, do not retain or record it, and report it to us at once.
4. REPORTING A VIOLATION
Report suspected violations to support@egalityhealth.com, or security issues to security@egalityhealth.com.
If you believe someone is using the Service to monitor or control you without your consent, contact support@egalityhealth.com and we will help you secure or remove your account. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available at 1-800-799-7233.
5. HOW WE ENFORCE
We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity, we may contact you and ask you to correct the problem, restrict or rate-limit a specific feature, suspend your account, or terminate your account.
We will give you notice and an opportunity to respond before suspending or terminating, except where a violation creates an immediate risk of harm.
Where we terminate an account for a violation, you may still export your data as described in Section 6.5 of the Terms, unless doing so would itself facilitate harm.
6. CHANGES
We may update this Policy. Material changes take effect on at least 30 days notice, as described in Section 16.1 of the Terms.
