Cookie Policy

Egality Health, a product of Insource Ai Inc.

Effective Date: July 29, 2026 Last Updated: July 29, 2026

1. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

This Cookie Policy explains how Insource Ai Inc. ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on Egality Health and the egalityhealth.com website.

Read this Policy together with our Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

2. WHAT COOKIES ARE

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember information, such as that you are logged in or what language you prefer.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use.

We also use related technologies, including local storage and session storage, described in Section 8. Throughout this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these unless we say otherwise.

3. THE CATEGORIES WE USE

3.1 Strictly Necessary

These cookies make the Service function. They keep you logged in, protect against fraud and attacks, and remember your privacy choices. They cannot be turned off, because without them the Service cannot be delivered, and they do not require your consent because they are essential to a service you requested.

3.2 Functional

These remember your preferences, including language, time zone, interface settings, and whether you dismissed a message. If you turn them off, the Service still works but will not remember these preferences.

3.3 Analytics and Performance

These tell us how the Service is used in aggregate, including which features are used, where people encounter difficulty, what breaks, and how quickly pages load. We use this to fix problems and decide what to build.

Our analytics are first-party. We measure usage with our own systems. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics company, and no analytics data leaves our infrastructure.

We do not associate analytics data with your health information.

Analytics cookies are off by default and require your consent, wherever you are.

3.4 Advertising and Targeting

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies, advertising pixels, advertising tags, or third-party advertising software development kits anywhere in Egality Health or on egalityhealth.com.

4. THE COOKIES WE SET

4.1 Strictly Necessary

  • __session — set by Firebase Auth, Google LLC. Purpose: authentication, keeping you signed in. First-party. Expires in 14 days.
  • csrf_token — set by Insource Ai. Purpose: protects against cross-site request forgery. First-party. Expires at end of session.
  • consent_preferences — set by Insource Ai. Purpose: remembers your cookie choices. First-party. Expires in 12 months.

4.2 Functional

  • locale — Purpose: remembers your language. First-party. Expires in 12 months.
  • timezone — Purpose: displays times correctly. First-party. Expires in 12 months.
  • ui_prefs — Purpose: remembers interface settings. First-party. Expires in 12 months.

4.3 Analytics and Performance

  • eh_analytics_id — Purpose: distinguishes one visit from another for aggregate usage measurement. Not linked to your health data. First-party. Expires in 12 months.

4.4 Advertising and Targeting

None. We set no advertising cookies.

4.5 At Checkout

If you purchase a paid plan, checkout is operated by Creem, Armitage Labs OU, our merchant of record, which sets its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention on its checkout pages.

5. HOW WE ASK FOR YOUR CONSENT

We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set until you make a choice.

Our banner offers Accept All, Reject All, and Manage Preferences with equal visual prominence. Refusing takes the same number of clicks as accepting.

We apply this standard to every user regardless of location.

We do not use cookie walls. You may use Egality Health whether or not you accept non-essential cookies.

Consent to cookies is not consent to health data processing. Your consent to the collection and processing of health information is obtained separately, at signup and in Settings.

6. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR MIND

Visit our cookie settings page, reachable from the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page and from Settings, then Privacy, inside the product. You can change any choice at any time.

7. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

We honor Global Privacy Control. When we detect it, we disable non-essential cookies including first-party analytics for that browser, and treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under applicable state laws.

8. OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

  • Local storage — used for saving drafts, caching, and keeping you signed in.
  • Session storage — used for temporary interface state.
  • Email pixels — we do not use them. We do not track whether you opened our emails.
  • Mobile SDKs — we use no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We update this Policy when our cookie practices change or when the law changes. We review our cookie inventory at least quarterly. Prior versions are archived and available on request.
